Melton Town Centre Your friendly neighbourhood beat officer has been here, there and everywhere over the last couple of days — a bit like a low budget superhero, but with more paperwork.
Yesterday I hosted a Beat Surgery at the Melton Carnegie Museum, where I was available for questions, concerns. Big thanks to staff who were very welcoming and kept me topped up with tea.
I’ve also been out on ASB patrols, keeping an eye on our usual hotspot areas. If you spotted me doing several laps of the same street, don’t worry — I wasn’t lost, just being thorough… very thorough.
To finish things off, I helped PCSO French with speed monitoring around the local area. So if you saw me pointing something that looked a bit like a hairdryer at passing cars — don’t panic. I promise I wasn’t testing new traffic‑related salon equipment. Thanks to everyone who waved, or pretended not to panic when they saw the speed gun. Your support really does make a difference. Stay safe and steady on the accelerator!
